Welcome to the StingbatBot User Guide! This guide will help you get started with using the bot and its various features.

Getting Started

Available Commands

  • !add-monster - Add custom monsters to your collection
  • !attack - Roll attacks and damage with weapons
  • !cast - Roll to cast spells
  • !character - Manage and select your characters
  • !check - Roll a skill check
  • !detail - View detailed information about your selected character
  • !effect - Add or remove effects from combatants in initiative
  • !hp - Modify or display HP for combatants
  • !import - Import Shadowdarklings JSON character data
  • !initiative - Initiative tracking
  • !inventory or !inv - View character inventory and gear slots
  • !license - Display the license
  • !monster - Search the monster bestiary
  • !monster_attack - Roll attacks and damage for monsters in initiative
  • !party - View all player characters in initiative
  • !ping - pong
  • !prefix - Set the prefix used for commands, defaults to "!"
  • !rest - Rest a character, healing all HP and removing temporary modifications
  • !roll - Roll dice expressions
  • !rr - Roll dice multiple times
  • !sheet - View summary information about your selected character
  • !stats - Modify base stats for combatants in initiative
  • !update - Update an existing character from a JSON file or URL
  • !xp - Manage character XP (DM to award/deduct, Players can view)

All commands follow this basic structure: 

!command [subcommand] [options]

For example: 

!character create
!initiative add @player
!encounter create "Goblin Ambush"
